(UPDATE) In spite of the statements by both Kosovo deputy PMs, one coming from LDK and the other of PDK, the Government did not collapse as it was reported earlier and instead PDK has placed conditions for LDK mainly to consolidate its leadership, its political stance of being in charge or opposition.

PDK party leadership has conferred until midnight to discuss the possibility of divorce with LDK and to think reformation of the Government. Sources, close to NKR inform that boiling has begun with LDK's aggressive campaign against the government, which also LDK is part of it (Justice Ministry, Foreign Ministry, Local Administration, etc ) while the cup is filled when entering the coalition with the opposition AAK in the runoff. PDK now for LDK has placed conditions. Demands that coalition partner to end the double-play.

Democratic Party of Kosovo seems to have finally decided to clarify the situation with its partner in government, the Democratic League of Kosovo.

In a meeting that lasted until the early hours of the day today, PDK chairmanship agreed to put some conditions LDK, since the latter violated the Coalition Agreement on central governing coalition and related to coalition agreements with rival parties  for the second round of mayoral race.

Daily Express newspaper sources indicate that the leadership of PDK say LDK must provide an appropriate clarification regarding why there are coalitions with rival parties, in violation of Coalition Agreement. Also, PDK requires governing partner to clearly define its hierarchy, after numerous attacks the coalition partner of LDK has  have for the Government of Kosovo.

Simultaneously, PDK, in talks today, will put on the table the possibility of expanding the current coalition government, which can also introduce the New Kosovo Alliance of Behgjet Pacolli.

"LDK should have a number we can dial and one single address we can approach. Currently no one knows who decides on the party, "said an official of PDK.

Under the agreement any coalition, it is not allowed. "The agreement binds both parties hereto, PDK and LDK in the next local elections in 2009 and in the next national elections to compete as a single and without any previous coalition, said the Coalition Agreement, which was signed by Hashim Thaci and Fatmir Sejdiu in January 2008.

Earlier, Deputy Prime Minister Hajredin Kuqi, after the meeting of the of PDK Chairmanship, around 1:30am in the morning said "We found violations of the agreement by LDK" he said.

"We decided to examine and reform the ruling coalition. The meeting tonight is over"

Meanwhile Behgjet Pacolli, said that current  he is on vacation and was not part of any discussion about the possibility of introducing his party in government.

"Before half an hour I received a phone by the Prime Minister Thaci and he said it is likely that to be included in government, "said Pacolli.
