While the runway fashion capitals are presenting Spring/Summer 2010 collections, twenty-two stylists in Kosovo have opened Prishtina Fashion Week featuring a total of 50 garments designed for Fall/Winter 2009/2010 seasons. Colors brown and orange, along with the red color of the room, presented a fall garden-like look and feel at the show. In this scenario, designers expressed their style with a "guilty" inspiration, deriving from the notion of colors and styles of our "Grandparents times".

The organizer of the event, Luan Oruqi, has created a wide public presence. "We never had a problem with the public whenever we organized Fashion Week, nor do we do now. This time, our regular audience enjoys the fact that a new audience has emerged," said Oruqi, while presenting designers from the Professional School of Art- "Evolution".

"Evolution" students varying from different academic years presented their creations in front of the public in Prishtina. Creations that were first presented by a total of 12 models were praised as courageous by the public. "There have been very bold styles, something that people would not wear today, but might in the future," said Aurora Susuri.

A positive opinion was shared by one of the professors of the Evolution school, Valdrin Sahiti, for designs that were presented at the show worked by his students. "I always feel good when I see runway models present their walk and their attitude," expressed Sahiti.

Meanwhile, 18 other designers presented about 50 other styles sending the public many years back into the past. After all, this was their goal; their motto of "my grandmothers sweater". "Our inspiration has come from our grandmother's times. The designers used material depicting those times, while still bringing the modern spirit," said Flora Loshi, one of the designers. As for designers' creations, they each presented a style of their own and had something special in itself, which made the show unique.
