Drafting the Kosovo national program of science continues

The national Council of Science, appointed by the Parliament of of the Republic of Kosovo, is continuing the work on drafting the National Program of Science for period 2010-2015.
 
With this document, that should be approved by the Kosovar Parliament, is aimed to determine the national priorities of research and to ensure the financing of research work for the following 5 years period.
 
After the initial consultation made at the end of September and the further work of experts' groups, National Council of Science have organized a 2-days consultation on 12 and 13 November resulting with advancement on determining of research priorities as well as on determining of strategic objectives and main activities of the program.

The whole process is proceeding with financial support of Kosovo- Austria Project for International Partnership in field of higher education and science, whereas there are involved Austrian experts as well. The process will continue with drafting of Program's Draft that will be discussed in a conference of national character.
