Kosovo students organize entrepreneurship fair

Kosovar students with the financial help by Norway's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, organized the entrepreneurship fair when 47 students' companies presented their creative work.
 
The fair was organized by NGO KS-Kosova and was financially supported by Norway's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, its Embassy in the Republic of Kosovo. Minister of Education, Science and Technology of the Republic of Kosovo, Enver Hoxhaj was present at the event.
 
In this fair are participating 216 students from high schools of Municipalities of Drenas, Kastriot, Fushë Kosovë, Kaçanik, Shtërpcë, Viti dhe Dardaneë and its purpose is that students to present results and products of one year project implemented by schools of seven municipalities.

Minister Hoxhaj stopped to every stand to see the students' creativity and talked with them for the work method presented.
 
"Today is a very special day. It is not a common companies' fair. What you see here is a learning method that enables students during one cycle to demonstrate the establishment of a business, business plan development, selection of leading bodies, and besides this the closing of these businesses that presents all phases how the establishment of a common company occurs..." said Minister Hoxhaj.

By emphasizing the importance of relation between education and technology, Minister mentioned the unemployment as one of main citizens' concerns, and said that in this way is enabling the removal of this concern and enables the creation of a society that is based on knowledge and economic development.

Minister Hoxhaj encouraged students to apply for registration on Higher Education, but as well he asked that a part of them to consider to involve directly in labor market, because as he said, Higher Education serves for this too, so in the future our country to be more developed as it is now.
"When I see these children, I see the future businessmen that will lead our country forward, and will contribute a lot in economic development" said Minister Hoxhaj.

Minister of Education said that, the purpose of this fair is that, along to this new culture of learning to have a successful entrepreneurship. He congratulated students for the work done, whereas thanked Norway's Ambassador to the Republic of Kosovo Sverre Johan Kvale who make it possible that these students' companies to think about a pragmatic work.

Ambassador Kvale said that he often heard the institutions representatives say that the young people are the power of this state, whereas he mentioned also the high unemployment especially at young. Therefore he emphasized the danger that can come from such a situation. "This is a good example that tells that the young are ready to do creative things that allows us to hope for the future", he said.
