Illegal parallel structures dissolve in Shterpcë

The new Kosovar mayor of Municipality of Shterpcë, Bratisllav Nikoliq has taken his first step in establishing the legitimate municipal administration in accordance with the constitution of the Republic of Kosovo and dissolution of illegal parallel structures financed by Serbia.

Bratisllav Nikoliq, the new mayor of Shterpcë Municipality, who won the Kosovo municipality elections held on November 15, 2009, after his inauguration 2 days ago, has changed the locks of doors of the municipal offices which were usurped by Serbian illegal parallel structures. At all nine offices, located across the municipal main building, yesterday began the legitimate administration work in this municipality.

The dissolution of Serbian illegal parallel structures in Shterpcë marks the beginning of integration of Serb minority into Kosovar society which certainly enables them prosperity and bright future in Kosovo state.

Local media report no incidents during the dissolution of the Serbian illegal parallel structures.
