Slovenian Prime Minister Borut Pahor has visited the Republic of Kosovo  in official visit on Monday and met  his Kosovar counterpart Hashim Thaçi,

"Kosovo's goal is to be part of NATO and the EU and at the same time to work with all countries of the region, said Prime Minister Thaçi, adding that the commitment of Pahor and Prime Minister of the Slovene state has always been for peace, for stability in order to move right Euro-Atlantic structures.

Speaking to the conference to be held in Brdo Slovenia, Slovenian Prime Minister Borut Pahor said the idea is that all regional leaders to join the European Union representatives and talk about the European perspective of these countries. Mr. Pahor said that despite the difficulties of organizing this meeting will result in success.

Prime Minister Thaçi said that the Republic of Kosovo Government, state institutions  will be in charge of responsibility for stability and cooperation in the region, and the idea and initiative for the conference to be held in Brdo Slovenia. Kosovo will be extremely responsible in this regard and will respond to challenges and values that bring our countries, our peoples

Furthermore Pahor Prime praised the great achievements and progress has been made in recent years in Kosovo. "As an observer who has been here even a few years ago, today I see great progress here," said Mr. Pahor, adding he is proud of the good relations between Slovenia and Kosovo.
