Montenegrin Prime Minister Milo Djukanovic has strongly criticized Serbia, claiming that it intends to present Montenegro as a "criminal state".

In an interview for the Montenegrin TV Djukanovic has said that Serbia intends to blacmail the Montenegrin state and show that Montenegro has no legal capacity to be an independent state.

All this shows, Djukanovic said that the fundamental problem is not Montenegro's Kosovo stance, but the essential problem is the independence of Montenegro and they are not complied with the law of Montenegro to take their own decisions.

"Another problem is that Serbia claims for the position of leader in the region, but for someone to be a leader must first solve the problem of war criminals, to settle if those who have committed crimes in Srebrenica are heroes or criminals, and to show more ability to develop relations with its neighbors, Djukanovic said.

Montenegrin Prime Minister stressed that Serbia has problems with all countries of the region, with Croatia, Bosnia, Kosovo, and Montenegro and Macedonia.

"Despite the logical goal of Serbia to be a leader in the region, sometimes with pride that has become controversial to itself, fortunately not with those consequences as in years nineties of the last century, recalling the military aggression of Serbia against all its neighbors, stressed Djukanovic.
