According to Kosovo Daily Zeri, Kosovo's Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) has increased its revenue plan for customs points around Kosovo, aiming to cover outgoing primer minister Hashim Thaci's earlier decision to increase salaries of civil servants by 50 percent .

The daily newspaper relies on its sources inside MEF to learn that during 2011, Kosovo Customs must cash in EUR 840 million, or EUR 138 million more than they did in 2010.

Kosovo Customs Director, Naim Huruglica, said that together with his staff, he will be able to collect the amount set by MEF.

"Perhaps it will be a little difficult, but we will implement the plan successfully" he said.

On the other hand, economy experts consider MEF's decision to increase the revenue plan for the customs, simply unattainable.

Hmmm, there is a small issue with the north where these so called customs points do not apply.
