Acting Pres. Jakup Krasniqi

Kosovo Daily Zeri informs that acting President of Kosovo Jakup Krasniqi, will travel to Strasbourg, France, accompanied only by his advisers.

Leaders of other institutions of the Republic will not make the three-day trip to France. This was confirmed by the president's Chief of Cabinet, Bilall Sherifi, who said that the incumbent president will not be in Kosovo until Friday. According to him, with the Assembly being dissolved and a busy Government, Krasniqi had to travel "alone".

On the other hand, Chief of Protocol at the Presidency, Skender Reçica, stated that during his stay in Strasbourg, Krasniqi will meet with EU's senior officials.

"Meetings will be held with the Chairman of the Committee on Cooperation with Parliaments of Western Balkan countries, Mr. Eduard Kukan, with the delegation of the European Parliament for the Western Balkans, and we are awaiting confirmation for meetings at the Council of Europe", he said.

Reçica also said that activities will start on Wednesday, for which the agenda is already set for meetings with officials from the European Parliament.
