EULEX spokeswoman, Kristiina Herodes announced in a press release today that the Mission raided four companies in different locations around Kosovo.

These locations include Prishtina, the region of Peja, and Prizren. The action was taken due to an investigation about a suspicious tender which has to do with the direct involvement of the Ministry of Transport and Telecommunication.

The raids were authorized by an EULEX judge at the District Court in Pristina.

In another investigation concerning other suspicious tenders in the city of Gjilan, the Executive Department of the EULEX Police has carried out another two raids.

These investigations are under the supervision of Kosovo Special Prosecutor's Office.
