Former Kosovo Government Ministers

One of the outgoing deputy ministers in the Government of Kosovo, has declared himself on Tuesday a citizen of Serbia.

Two other former ministers have also declared themselves to be citizens of Serbia. Nemanja Vujovic, deputy Health minister in Thaci's government, Slavisa Petkovic, former Returns and Communities minister, and Branislav Grbic, deputy of this ministry, when asked about their nationalities by EULEX judge Gianfranco Gallo, have denied their Kosovo citizenship, even though they live and work in Kosovo.

Together with another group of people, they have been summoned at the District Court in Prishtina for the second time, on the confirmation hearing of the indictment for economic crimes at the expense of the state budget, costing it millions.

Slavisa Petkovic, Branislav Grbic and Nemanja Vujovic are the first ministers, respectively deputy minister, of the Government of Kosovo who are accused of the misuse of more than one million euros of taxpayers' money.
