KFOR Hands Over Responsibility to Kosovo Border Police

KFOR and Kosovo Police will sign an agreement on January 22, marking the official handover of responsibilities to the Kosovo Border Police.

The agreement will affect part of the border with Macedonia. KFOR's Office announced that "the commander of NATO forces in Kosovo, Major General Erhard Buhler will attend the ceremony along with Minister of Internal Affairs of Kosovo and Minister of Internal Affairs of Macedonia."

The event will also summon Kosovo's ambassador in Macedonia, Macedonia's ambassador in Kosovo, head of the EULEX mission and the director of Border Police of Kosovo.
