Voting In Mitrovica

Central Election Commission (CEC) announced that 26.76% of elligible voters have casted their votes in Mitrovica yesterday, or 23.238 citizens.

Compared to December 12, the number of voters has decreased by 11%.

Even though CEC still has no official information regarding the development of the voting process, it considers that it was successful, and no incidents happened that would harm the electoral process.

Serbs in the northern part of Mitrovica boycotted the elections. Only nine people decided to vote.

CEC President, Valdete Daka, said that the first preliminary results will be announced today at 10am. /rtk/
