Thaci negotiations to form new government

Hashim Thaci, head of the Democratic Party of Kosova (PDK), said today that he will be Prime Minister in the next mandate as well. He added that he will play a unifying role, not from the position of the president, but from the position of the chief of the executive branch.

Thaci said that he has already guaranteed the majority of seats in the parliament, and that as of Monday he will officially start inviting the political entities that will be part of the assembly, to talk coalition.

He also said that PDK will not hold all three senior political functions. According to him, the new president will be someone who has passed through the last election process.

He made these comments at the EU Information and Cultural Centre in Prishtina./kohaditore/
