Serbs in Northern Kosovo would agree to a special status that would give them broad autonomy.
The so-called mayor of Mitrovica North, Krstimir Pantic, said a special status for the North within the Republic of Kosovo is acceptable, Daily Times correspondent reports.
"Since the special status and the impossibility of Kosovo's division are often mentioned, we have concluded that such a thing might be acceptable in the context of an independent Kosovo," said Pantic addressing the Serbian media in the North of Kosovo. /koha ditore/
