Pristina – Ten publicly owned enterprises (POEs) were today transformed into joint stock companies. This process is supported by the European Union project to assist the Kosovo Trust Agency (KTA) to incorporate POEs. In a ceremony held at Don Bosko Center, Kosovo’s Minister of Trade and Industry, Bujar Dugoli handed over the transformation certificates to ten POEs in the waste management and irrigation sectors.

Besim Beqaj, Head of the Kosovo Chamber of Commerce, said the economy of Kosovo increased for three percent. He added that by entering into CEFTA, Kosovo became more competitive in the wood industry and increased its export rate.
