Can the Constitution of Kosovo enter into force while UNMIK will still be here? Pristina has no dilemma. On June 15, it will adopt the new constitutional order.

U.S. denies it has criticized Kosovo
The paper reports on a press release issued by the U.S. Embassy in Kosovo denying that U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary Rosemary DiCarlo, in her visit to Pristina, criticised the Kosovo Government for not doing a good enough job on lobbying for new recognitions of independence. The statement says that the U.S. regretted these reports were carried by certain media in Kosovo as DiCarlo “made no such comments.”

In coverage of the meeting yesterday of EU foreign ministers in Brussels, the paper reports that the meeting did not clarify many issues regarding the deployment of the EU missions in Kosovo. “In fact the meeting in a way has increased confusion and possibilities for delays in the setting up of this mission,” the paper writes.

Kosovo was one of the central topics discussed in the NATO Parliamentarian Assembly, which is being held in Berlin. For the first time in such a high-level meeting, a Kosovo delegation (Xhavit Haliti, Naim Maloku, Slobodan Petrovic) is participating.
