A Kosovo Serb has been arrested yesterday on suspicion of committing war crimes in 1999.

Kosovo Police Service (KPS) members in Vushtrri arrested Dejan Tomic, employed by the Vushtrri Municipality.

Kosovo status negotiator Martti Ahtisaari was awarded Nobel peace prize for 2008 today.

In northern Kosovo an Albanian man saved a Serb woman who was under attack.

The situation happenned close to the "Three Skyscrapers" area in Serb-dominated northern Mitrovica.

The police arrested two Serbs, D. Miladinovic and Z. Miladinovic, suspected to be brothers, for attacking the 29-year-old Serb woman.
