What can they do more/worse than kill Albanians? They tried and tried for centuries, but in the end Albanians prevailed after all and always will, because justice is on our side not the other way around. Servs have big mouths and they are used to sheme against others, even in a young age. It's nothing new to us what Servs are doing, we know what they are up to and have always been saying so even in the middle ages, though It's up to you if you care about it or not. Servs wanted to have it all and failed miserably, besides that - we are in the 21st Century now, there is internet, there are schools, universities, all kinds of books, there are historians, news agencies etc. pp. Kosova is under no oppressing regime any more...

Servs can do about nothing at all in this day and age. Their only hope would be to start another World War with the help of Mother Russia, as they already did back in the day with the First World War. Though, It's not going to be that easy for them this time around, they will have to fight against Armed Soldiers. It was way to easy for them to slaughter unarmed civillians and kill old man, woman and young children and place mines about anywhere - so that even though they had to flee in the face of the Nato troops - they would still be able to kill some more people.

But as I said, time has changed there is a diffrent reality this time around, also Albanians are not scared of Servs we can put up with them longer than any other people, because we are highlanders, a mountainous people and this is our terrain, nothing Servia can do about it. - Dition

Well, I recognize that i am, technically, an outsider, but i think after all of the time and energy i have put into the cause of independence and democracy-building in Kosovo/a, i should at least have a say. so here it is: i am sure that your FM is a very intelligent and thoughtful man. honestly i do not know much about his background and anything else would be mere speculation.

BUT -- do you realize what you guys and gals are up against? the power of Serbia, of this particular regime? this respected, "pro-western" regime? they are (diplomatically?) walking all over you, and have great plans to "humble" their break-away province and destroy the independence. that may be impossible (for now) but they certainly can make things pretty ugly, as they have shown and threatened again and again. this has nothing to do with legality or intl law, and everything to do with a balkan power play, and a very smart one at that.

if i didn't have to worry about little things like democracy or morality, i would be rooting for the tadic/jeremic team 150% -- they are dynamic, they are energized, they are alive...

and what is the response to this? there has been almost no concerted response, so surely they will prevail, and things will get worse before they get better. and remain stagnant, which is surely not something any of us wish for.

i am not pushing for another war, believe me. thank god the wars are over (for the time being.) but there is such a thing as a strong and principled defense, and i have barely seen a glimpse of it. Just what is going on in Pristina?

That is the question.

cheers!

Those governments know that this is just a delaying tactic, so that it can only do harm to the Kosovars while having no effect on the eventual outcome. They should vote against it if they are honest --or even neutral. - Sebaneau
